The year was 1982 - my mother gifted me a color analysis as a parting college gift. Having been analyzed as a colorful and bright Spring, my color journey began and I enthusiastically embraced it 100%. Fast forward to my 50th birthday. My husband asked what was it that he could purchase to make this new chapter a memorable and special one. My response…”I need to rediscover myself”. My hair color was changing, my skin tone was changing as well and some of those bright, colorful Spring colors just weren’t working for me anymore. It was SO evident in the cosmetics I was using. I knew it was time for a total refresh…and what a journey I began…for that’s where my true colors were truly discovered. Having been analyzed as a Spring, a Winter and a Summer, my Type A personality told me what I really needed to do was to dive really deep and get this figured out because it was obvious that too many systems do not capture an accurate analysis. Thus began a career change to become a color and style analyst. So off I went to London to achieve just that. Fast forward another 10 years and finally, after having owned a franchise with a major color analysis company in the UK and US, I left that company, joined forces with a kindred spirit who was gifted in this area, and together we have created a color and style system that is more comprehensive and more detailed and accurate than anything else we have found. I am trained in both Seasonal and Tonal color analysis. Both are necessary to achieve the most accurate analysis…because we are complex beings and I have seen firsthand on many hundreds of clients that you can’t put someone into one of four boxes…too many people fall between the Seasons or fall neutral. Our system identifies all of these intricacies where almost all do not.

Color Analysis
Color analysis is finding your best colors… your signature colors… the colors that brighten your eyes, smooth your complexion and harmonize with your God given beauty.
An in-person analysis using precision-dyed drapes identifies your personal coloring - your natural hair color, your eye color and your skin tone. All three of these components identify the specific colors that will make you look and feel radiant all while honoring the balance and harmony needed to create a cohesive look with your natural coloring.
I utilize two different types of Color Analysis with all clients: Seasonal and Tonal
Seasonal Palettes are divided into four Seasons and each palette has a distinctly different tone and personality.
Tonal Palettes are divided into Characteristics: Light, Dark, Soft, Bright, Warm & Cool
The Tonal Concept is a method used to discover colors which are in balance and harmony with your body’s natural coloring. It’s a delicate balance as the majority of people do not have a predominance…they are not exclusively cool or warm and they can exhibit a brightness of the eye, as an example, but a neutral skin tone and warm or cool hair color. They simply don’t always have one main characteristic. We are complex beings and tonal analysis honors each unique trait that makes you unique.
Style Analysis
As a woman, one would think we would know every intricacy of our bodies, but having worked with hundreds of women over the years, the reality is very few women understand their body geometrics. Add on to that the simple fact that many women are intimidated by the world of fashion…especially as they age. My goal is to be the change agent to that problem!
A style analysis focuses on key components to honor your body and your personality, which allows you to fully understand and embrace your unique body.
